Fairy Tales, Myth & Dream Group
Long before psychology existed, myths and fairy tales gave shape to the deepest questions of human life. They speak in symbols rather than instructions, offering images that often illuminate experiences that ordinary language cannot fully express. Dreams arise from this same symbolic realm, inviting us into a conversation with the unconscious and the deeper currents of the psyche.
Together, myths, fairy tales, and dreams provide a rich way of exploring life’s challenges, transitions, relationships, creativity, grief, identity, and calling. Rather than offering simple answers, they help us cultivate imagination, deepen self-understanding, and discover meanings that are uniquely our own.
This group is not about analyzing stories “correctly,” but about entering into dialogue with them—and with one another—in a thoughtful, respectful, and supportive community. Whether you come to reflect on the month’s tale, share a dream, or simply listen, you are welcome. No previous knowledge required!
Women’s Myth, Fairy Tale & Dream Group
Last Wednesday of Each Month
12:00–1:30 PM MST (Zoom)
Cost: $25 (PayPal, Venmo)
At the beginning of each month, I will announce the group’s topic via email. Themes will emerge from patterns and questions that arise in my individual client work, including:
Intuition & Inner Knowing
Voice & Authenticity
Power, Boundaries & Agency
Life Transitions & Initiation
Shadow, Trauma & Healing
Creativity, Calling & Purpose
Belonging, Exile & Homecoming
The Sacred Feminine & Women’s Spirituality
Soul, Meaning & the Mythic Life
Each meeting will be loosely structured as follows:
First 45 minutes: Discussion of the month’s myth/fairy tale and its themes
Second 45 minutes: Open for discussion, reflections, dreams, questions, and sharing
If you plan to attend, please let me know by the 10th of the month. At that time, you’re also welcome to let me know if you’d like to share a dream, piece of artwork, writing, or other creative work. Your contribution does not need to relate to the monthly theme.
The group will move forward each month if at least three participants are able to attend. Then, I will send out the zoom link, the fairy tale and any additional materials for that month’s gathering.
